Unsure about scheduling a session?

Want to know more about me first?

Meet my family and get to know me better.

I love my life with my family of 4! Amanda and I were married in 2016 and have lived together on Pine Street since 2013. Our 2 kids, Beatrice and Fern, are the subjects of 90% of my photos. Running after my kids and capturing the moment is one of my greatest joys, especially when we look back at our photos together. In those photos, you'll find us camping, hiking, paddleboarding and adventuring. You'll see a lot of us hanging on our front porch dancing, singing, and reading together.

My love of photography began as a young child and visual art has always been a passion of mine, from drawing to watercolor painting to pottery - but photography captures my heart most because of the value it holds and its ability to connect us to our past and to each other.

In my professional career, I have 10 years (and counting) of experience being in front of the camera as a video host and one of the faces of Enwild (an online, outdoor retailer). I acted in and modeled for hundreds of outdoor products and worked with many different videographers, photographers, and creatives. In a previous role as a video production coordinator, I captured and processed hundreds of product, marketing, and branding photos per year. My extensive experience in front of the camera gives me a unique ability behind the camera to connect with my clients and communicate the result we want to achieve together.

More than your photographer though, I want to be your trusted buddy. I want to be there for your milestones so you don't have to worry about capturing the moment yourself. You can just live in the moment and let me document it. In my sessions, we'll get to know each other as I create a laid back atmosphere for you to feel your best, most authentic self. We'll have fun joking, or twirling, or just walking and talking. We can go on a hike, or walk downtown for coffee, or sit in a flower meadow, or stomp in a creek. I'll direct you through poses that feel natural to you and encourage you to let your personality shine.

Testimonials

“My wife and I have always wanted pictures that just *felt like us* and we didn’t know what that truly looked like until we got our photo taken by Bec. She did a flawless job of not making it feel like she was even holding a camera…so that awkward “what do we do” feeling was out the window. We simply existed and she captured our essence. We were beaming looking through the collection. The quality and skill she delivers is evident.
Look no further for your perfect photographer!”

—Emily & Kelsey Miller

“Thank you for how much time and effort you put into making my daughter’s senior photos exactly what she wanted. You are great with teenagers and that’s not easy.”

—Cathy (mother) & Sarah

“Bec was just so easy to work with and made us feel very comfortable during the shoot. The turnaround time was amazingly fast and the quality is outstanding!”

SeamWorks can do it all! From large scale industrial work, to apparel, to decorative projects. They worked tirelessly for our community to construct high quality face masks during the start of the pandemic when masks were scarce. I had the honor of capturing photos of their work.
